Over the following decade, his manifesto calling for the \u201cend of the age of fire\u201d emerged.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The compilation of remixes for \u201cTo Burn or Not to Burn\u201d\u2014 a track originally released on Arnaldo\u2019s solo album Let It Bed (2004) \u2014 showcases the lustiness of Brazilian underground electronic music artists who have emerged in recent years within a diverse and expanding musical landscape.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The omnipresent minimalist poem \u2014 \u201cTo burn or not to burn. What is the question? What? What?\u201d\u2014 is uniquely incorporated into each remix, reflects decades of electronic dance music history from the 1960s to the present, and suggests an echo of Arnaldo Baptista\u2019s manifesto through these artists&#8217; work.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI had a distinct experience regarding these works: space-age synthesizers falling into a dance rhythm and poetic drive.
